When you register for RaiseUp, you are able to download the RaiseUp Assistant. This is an online feature that will help you to raise funds for every single online purchase you make … and to never miss one! Here’s what it does and why you want it …
What it is …
The RaiseUp Assistant is a browser extension and a great feature that you can download online for Chrome, Firefox and Safari. When it is downloaded, a little RaiseUp logo will appear on your toolbar.
Once you have it downloaded, it can perform the following functions:
1. Login without going to RaiseUp.org and stay signed in.
You can login in the top right corner of your browser using the RaiseUp Assistant and stay logged in at all times. Now when you shop, you won’t have to go to www.RaiseUp.org to do so. Instead, you can do your online shopping and
browsing as you normally would.
2. Receive reminders when you are doing your normal online shopping.
As you are doing your normal online shopping, the RaiseUp Assistant will notify or remind you if the online store you are visiting is part of the RaiseUp program. It will ask if you want to login to RaiseUp if you haven’t already … or will ask if you want to raise funds (of course you do!) if you are already logged in.
You may be visiting a site and not even thinking about RaiseUp … but you will still get to raise funds for the cause you chose!
3. See which stores are part of the program when searching for items.
Sometimes you just Google search for an item you want to purchase. When you do so, the search results will include a little note above that states if the online store is part of RaiseUp and what percentage they are giving back to the cause.
